All Are Welcome
CACINA was founded on January 23, 1949 with the consecration of the Most Reverend Stephen Corradi-Scarrelaas its bishop by Bishop Costa. His mandate was to establish mission churches consistent with the principles of ICAB in the North America. Bishop Corradi was sent first to Panama and then to the United States. Bishop Corradi founded the first parish of what became CACINA in Albuquerque, New Mexico in 1949.
The Catholic Apostolic Church in North America (CACINA) today is a relatively small Catholic community made up of nearly 15 parishes and missions in the US, as well as several religious communities. We welcome all, regardless of age, race, national origin, marital status, gender identity, sexual orientation, political beliefs, or economic status.
CACINA is not affiliated with the Roman Catholic, Orthodox, Episcopal or other sacramental churches. Our worship however and beliefs are largely in the Catholic tradition and celebrate the Mass and the seven sacraments as all Catholics.
We are followers of Jesus Christ. We serve God in our communities.
